Sasha Studio release notes: v1.0.1441 to v1.0.1442

Executive Summary

M4 adds member MCP create and edit for ordinary filesystem documents. Files remain on disk; SQLite stores operation and authorization metadata only. Git history, shared writes and undo remain future work.

Major Features & Improvements

  • Members can read, create and edit documents in their own homes through Claude.
  • Existing staff CLI access to member homes is retained.
  • Protected-home maintenance, transcript exclusions and durable operation recovery are enforced.

Stability & Reliability

  • Conditional writes detect stale content and preserve idempotent retries.
  • Alias, crash-recovery and Linux/ext4 runtime cases are covered by focused and full-suite tests.

Developer Experience & Docs

  • M4 design, plans, runtime evidence and final verification reports are included.
  • PRD 23 M-011 records source completion; live acceptance remains open.

Upgrade Notes

  • Writes are disabled by default. Enable only on an approved instance with the documented feature flag and handle key.
  • Deployment requires supported Linux/ext4 storage, explicit instance approval and first-live-member security sign-off.

Changelog Summary

Source range: v1.0.1441..v1.0.1442.

M4 member MCP filesystem read/write, consent and scope enforcement, automated-writer protections, recovery guidance, runtime proof and documentation.

Looking Ahead

The following phase adds Git versioning over these same files, history/restore, additional mutations and shared-document writes. Staff CLI isolation remains an optional revisit.
